Hailing from Prince Edward Island, Alli Walker, a Canadian country singer-songwriter, has embodied a strong work ethic her entire life. After a year of classical vocal studies at University, Walker, influenced by artists like Taylor Swift and Brooks & Dunn, made the audacious move to Toronto to pursue her musical dream. Along the way, she modeled for Nike, Dyson, Google, and Levi’s and even appeared on Suits. Despite enduring months of couch-surfing and years of odd jobs, Walker resolved to master the music industry. Armed with self-taught knowledge and resilience, she released her debut album, The Basement Sessions: What I’ve Learned So Far, in 2019. The pandemic disrupted her Nashville plans but propelled her into TikTok stardom. Several songs gained immense traction, influencing her album, Growing Up. Walker has since earned multiple accolades including Spotify Canada’s Radar Artist on the Horizon. In 2023, Walker fused bagpipes with country in the viral TikTok hit “The Whiskey’s Gone”. Currently, now based in Nashville, she’s preparing her next album and more global tour dates, heralding a promising future for this innovative artist.
