The Bluebird Cafe celebrated a brilliant debut at C2C: Country to Country\u00a0in Berlin in 2020. On 6 March 2025, this ultimate Nashville experience will return for the third time. Like in 2024, it will once again take place at the Passionskirche in Kreuzberg. This unique venue offers exceptional acoustics in an intimate setting and we\u2019re looking forward to welcoming incredible acts from Music City. The evening is the perfect way to get in the mood for the festival weekend and promises a truly special concert experience, thanks to the venue alone.

Der in Pennsylvania geborene Schauspieler und Singer\/Songwriter Charles Esten, der vor allem f\u00fcr seine Rolle als Deacon Claybourne in der Welthit-TV-Serie \u201eNashville\u201c bekannt ist, gab sein Theaterdeb\u00fct im Londoner West End und spielte als einer der fr\u00fchen Hauptdarsteller im lang laufenden und beliebten britischen Musical Buddy! In den letzten Jahren hat er Hunderte von Live-Konzerten gespielt, darunter mehrere Auftritte in der O2 Arena London sowie ausverkaufte \u201eNashville In Concert\u201c- Tourneen \u2013 zu der es auch einen gleichnamigen Konzertfilm gibt – sowie eine ausverkaufte Tournee im Januar 2019 in Deutschland, den Niederlanden und Gro\u00dfbritannien. Charles Esten freut sich darauf, 2020 mit seiner kompletten Band live auf die B\u00fchne zur\u00fcckzukehren. In seiner Wahlheimat Nashville trat er beim CMA Fest, dem Bluebird Caf\u00e9, dem Ryman Auditorium und h\u00e4ufig in der Grand Ole Opry auf, wo er im Juli 2018 seinen hundertsten Auftritt feierte. Neben seinen Live-Auftritten, seiner schauspielerischen Arbeit und seinem Engagement f\u00fcr den guten Zweck ist Esten nationaler Ehrensprecher f\u00fcr die \u201eLight the Night Walks\u201c zugunsten der \u201eLeukemia & Lymphoma Society\u201c. Er schreibt und nimmt weiterhin seine eigene Musik – aktuell mit \u00fcber 8 Millionen Streams – auf und steht bereits im Guinness-Buch der Rekorde f\u00fcr die Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von 54 Original-Songs: (erh\u00e4ltlich bei iTunes und bei Spotify) einmal pro Woche, 54 Wochen lang in Folge. Im Vorfeld seiner UK-Tour im Oktober 2019 ver\u00f6ffentlichte Charles Esten eine neue Single, die er gemeinsam mit J.T. Harding schrieb und mit Bobby Hamrick produzierte. “A Road and a Radio” ist eine rockige Country-Ode, die die Top 10 der UK iTunes Country Charts erreichte. <\/p>\n

Tony Arata ist der K\u00fcnstler, der eigens vom THE BLUEBIRD CAFE aus Nashville f\u00fcr diesen ganz speziellen Auftritt nach Berlin kommen wird. Der in Savannah, Georgia, geborene Singer-\/Songwriter machte sich bereits fr\u00fch einen Namen durch seine pers\u00f6nlichen und poetischen Texte und stiegt somit schlagartig in die Songwriters Hall of Fame auf. Bis heute ist der Songwriter f\u00fcr seine ausgezeichneten Schreib-Skills im Country-Bereich und vor allem in Nashville bekannt. Der introvertierte Country-Singer-Songwriter Austin Jenckes ver\u00f6ffentliche im Mai diesen Jahres sein Deb\u00fct-Album \u201eIf You Grew Up Like I Did \u00fcber red dot. Aus dieser Langspielplatte hat der in Nashville lebende Jenckes 3 Songs als Singles herausgestellt, welche seine musikalische und lyrische Bandbreite besonders hervorbringen, darunter der Lead-Track \u201eFat Kid\u201c feat. Lori McKenna, der k\u00fcrzlich erschienene Song \u201eRide Away\u201c und seine letzte Single-Auskopplung \u201eNever Left Memphis\u201c. Letzterer besticht vor allem durch die unverkennbare Stimme von Austin und kombiniert Rock-, Blues- und Soul-Elemente, wie kein zweiter. Zurecht findet er sich deswegen in bekannten internationalen Playlisten von marktf\u00fchrenden Streamingdiensten wieder. Jenckes wuchs in Dunvall, Washington, einem Vorort von Seattle, auf und zog vor sechs Jahren nach Nashville, um sich darauf zu konzentrieren, sein Songwriting und seine Musik auf eine professionelle Ebene zu heben.<\/p>\n

Mit dem Umzug verband er gekonnt seine Familienplanung mit dem internationalen Erfolg seiner Musik. Mit insgesamt 15 Millionen Streams \u00fcber alle Plattformen hinweg und seiner Auszeichnung zum \u201eArtist You Need To Know\u201c vom Rolling Stone Country im R\u00fccken, betrat er bereits mit bekannten Country-Namen \u2013 wie Brothers Osborne, Lee Brice und The Cadillac Three \u2013 die B\u00fchnen der Erde.
